Still having problems! The full flash was going nowhere! After over 2 hours the progress bar was still moving. I have defragged the EEprom, saved the EEprom but cannnot find out how to save the full flash from the phone. I have NOT cut the test point as the phone is not locked.

Thanks Dagos,

Unfortunately I cannot attach photo of cable connections - it refuses to upload - jpg 50kb

My cable has only 5 wires connected as follows:

Pin 1 Lumberg to pcb 1
Pin 2 Lumberg to pcb 10
Pin 3 Lumberg to pcb 3
Pin 5 Lumberg to pcb 6
Pin 7 Lumberg to pcb 5 & 11

Must I add two more wires and connnect both ends and then put 10K resistors on pcb?

Hi,
I see your posts and I will try to help you.
First, to working well with Joker, you need to have derial data cable or USB to Com cable . Not working with native USB cable. You need to have cable model CA-A31
Second, because you need after fullflash to unlock your phone, need to cut way (make testpoint).
Third, to make fullflash backup, go to the "Flash" menu, check only "FullFlash" and click on the "Read" button. To flash your phone (included bootcore area), check "FullFlash" and "ReCalc Keys", nothing else. Click on "Write" button, select fullflash file and wait....Time for flashing process is maximum 45 minutes and flashing bar need to progress in time.

...not,
solder directly in the Lumberg connector. Pin5 to pin2 with 10KOhm resistor and pin7 to pin2 with 10KOhm resistor. Pin2 is the GND pin!

Dagos - you will not believe this!
Today I bought two 10k resistors and fitted them into the Lumberg Slim connector. All seemed well and I had been charging the A60 ready to back up the Full flash and to flash the phone. I could not see whether the phone was fully charged so switched it on. It gave the message "Please wait" and then BOOTED UP NORMALLY! It now works again with either SIM card.

As a test I tried to read the flash using Joker and my modified cable but that still does not seem to work The progress bar fills and then empties again as before.

I am mystified but wonder if I managed to repair the problem by running the diagnostics as I mentioned in my post of 1/06/08 19:30. I had not tried to switch the phone on again after running those tests until tonight.

I am relieved that I do not have to cut track to make test point!

Thank you so much for all your help. I hope that my response may increase your experience.

Ron
