A50 Unlock Help

A50 Version 02
I have purchased another Data cable which stated it could be used for unlocking, as I read that my official Siemens one is unable to.
I have Freia Engine build 15, Frontend build 11
I have shorted test point to earth
I have charged the battery to 100%
Tried Boot type set to bootcore bug & Normal
Process Medium
I have tried numerous connect speeds

I have tried with SIM in and Out, tried turning phone on when waiting to power phone and pressing power key short when already on

Yet I still can get no further that "phone is not powered on"
I find it hard to justfy paying for unlocking when the phone is worth less than the unlocking cost.

Can anyone help!!!!

COMM_LoadBoots : selected phone family is 7
TTY_OpenCOMPort : opening Prodigy
COMM_IsBootRunning : bootcode does not seem to be running
COMM_LoadBoots : Waiting to power on the phone ...
COMM_LoadBoots : phone is not powered on
 
If your cable is COM you must rebild him and do this:
-Modify the cable and connect it to computer and to the phone.
-Connect test point to the wire from the cable (phone is off)
-Start freia and select phone A50, and in configuration select com port of cable and boot type normal.
-Then select unlocking functions -> Direct unlock no map is saved and push the button: use original IMEI
-Then push the on/off button on the phone for a second and the phone will be unlocked.

Should I give up!!!!
Test point now connected to pin 1 of data cable instead of earth on phone.
Freia Set-up com 1, tried 115200 & 57600, SIM in & Out (which should it be In or Out?) dongle set a default com2 (tried 1) , DTR RTS not set, Process Medium, Boot Type normal.
Tried Start Freia - turn on phone
& Tried Start Freia while phone is on and press power short time.
As suggested - Direct unlock no map is saved and push the button: use original IMEI
But still get phone is not powered on
(I could state blaming Windows XP which would make me feel better!!)

Solved the problem myself without knowing it
Sarcasic comment about windows XP come in handy.
Tried cable & phone on an old Windows 98 machine and it worked first time
 
Hi how did you do it im having the same problem with Xp and 98 just say phone not powering on ??

I Used Freia Engine build 15
I shorted test point to Pin 1 of cable (actually soldered it on)
I charged the battery to 100%
Set to Com 1, Speed 115200, Dongle com 2 (doesn't matter), RTS DTR Ticked, Process Medium, Bootcore Normal.
Unlocking Function = Direct unlock no map is saved, use original IMEI
With phone on, when it states waiting to power on phone just press power on key briefly
After my hours of hassel this actually worked with Win98 never got to work on XP
