i have read this on a post but i dont understand the part where you solder a piece of wire. you solder a piece of wire where do you connect the other end of the wire is there a diagram to show this

OK if you want unlock A50 you need to:

1. open the phone(dissasemble)
2. find the test point on the board
3. solder small piece of wire on test point and other side just near the test point to the ground(gnd)
4. assemble your phone
5. conect data cable and run software
6. press start and after few seconds your phone will be unlocked

If you dont know where is gnd on the phone just solder it to the pin 1 of the connector where you plug data cable and after unlocking desolder it.
Have fun

i know where to solder the wire near the screen but where do other ebd of the wire go

Thanks. Where can I get the pics of Siemens other model test point ? I have another question, why siemens sets need to short the test point to work via boxs ?

Thanks guys for your kind help. A50 is working. Would you please let me know what does the following mean and impact while falshing :

1.Patch bootcore in fsl file.
2.Backup battery parameter from phone.
3.Resote battery parameter from phone.
4.Maping.

Please help me as I am very new in siemens softwear.

Thaking you again.

Still are versions of a50 that need test point for unlock and flash. And the most easy is to write full fubu and "unlock without map saving" with freia. This is for a50, and lower versions but if the phone is dead and v11 (this version requires test point) then first make test point and then flash as i sad before. This methode is general for siemens but there is some case that need eeprom write too.
