A2 Criminal Law Scenerio question?

Sachin enters a post office, points a gun at George, who is serving behind the counter, and says, 'Hand over all the money'. George says 'Get lost!" Sachin aims at George's arm and pulls the trigger but the gun fails to work. In panic, Sachin runs out of the door. Within seconds, George, who has a weak heart, collapses on to the floor in shock. An ambulance is called but George dies shortly afterwards, before professional treatment arrives.

Discuss the potential criminal liability of Sachin for the above incidents.

If the case was dropped and the suspect went on to assault again, the dropped case might possibly be used as 'bad character evidence' to show that the suspect had a prediliction to go around assaulting people.
