I ordered Beauty and the Beast and Sleeping Beauty on dvd from A1dvd. The Beauty and the Beast dvd is TERRIBLE quality (the Sleeping Beauty one is not too bad.. it's as good as the copy of the film that I video'd from the bbc when they showed it at Christmas a couple of years ago)

I emailed a1dvd and they told me that the film is NOT a pirate and they are a reputable company - and I'm a monkey's uncle!!!

When I went back and looked at the web site there is not one UK address to be found anywhere and it will cost me

Can't you claim the money back via paypal? If it's dodgy merchandise then it's a pretty good reason for them to issue your money back.

I guess it depenRAB on whether you want the hassle.

Anyone who has bought from a1dvd.co.uk and is not happy should return their purchases and claim back the postal costs - they have promised to refund me.

I went through paypal's resolution centre and got a very quick reply.

I've read somewhere that Disney are re-releasing Sleeping Beauty next year, so hopefully you will be able to get a decent copy fairly soon.
