Hello fellow bikers. I'm new to the biking thingy and really hopes you peeps here can help me out on few thingys with me bike. First off don't pick on me about my little 650 susuki. Like I said I'm new to biking and I'm not ready for the big guys yet. But , some day
. Ok Anyways I'm having an issue with a new bike I bought back in 2005. lol yup 2005. I'll never be a biker at this rate, lol. The bike has like 150 mile on it. I think I took it in once for a service, like it really needed it at that many miles . I can't seem to 1. keep my battery from going dead and 2. I can't seem to keep the bike from going dead. Try as I might, and I do have some mechanical knewledge, its won't stay running. I have tried adjusting the idle mixer screw and its seems to help for about 5 minutes and again shuts off. I can start it again but to keep it running I have to play with the mixer screw and then that only lasts for few minutes. Does anyone know what the turns are on that screw to make right amount of turns to adjust? I know if I do my own work i should get a service manual but I'm cheap too and will save for it,lol. Well what an introduction hey.
