it.? A company is listing my website in their portfolio but they did not build it. They built another site for me years ago. They are coming up in the Google Search Results when people search for us. I have contacted them by email various times, and have also called them and have been assured that they will remove the link as it is 'obviously a mistake' but they, to date, have not removed it. What can I do?
Torstein you're a genius! I'm not going to change our URL but I can program some code to pick up whether the referring site is the one in question and then lead them aaaannnnyyyywhere I want to. Brilliant! Why didn't I think of that?
 
To make it official you should have a lawyer send them a "Cease and desist" letter. It will cost a little bit of money, but generally speaking this works fast for an issue like this.
