An email which I recieved by someone. Its a beautiful poem and quite touchy. Read it and then think about it

"Today, upon a bus, I saw a very beautiful woman. And wished I were as beautiful. When suddenly she rose to leave, I saw her hobble down the aisle. She had one leg and wore a crutch. But as she passed, she passed a smile.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine. I have two legs; the world is mine.

I stopped to buy some candy. The lad who sold it had such charm. I talked with him, he seemed so glad. If I were late, it'd do no harm. And as I left, he said to me, "I thank you, you've been so kind. It's nice to talk with folks like you. You see," he said, "I'm blind."
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine. I have two eyes; the world is mine.

Later while walking down the street, I saw a child I knew. He stood and watched the others play, but he did not know what to do. I stopped a moment and then I said, "Why don't you join them dear?" He looked ahead without a word. I forgot, he couldn't hear.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine. I have two ears; the world is mine.

With eyes to see the sunset's glow..
With feet to take me where I'd go.
With ears to hear what I'd know.
Oh, God, forgive me when I whine. I've been blessed indeed, the world is mine."
If this poem makes you feel thankful, consider forwarding it to your friends. It's just a simple reminder that we have so much to be thankful for!
Plz no mean comments!

It makes me sad that some people have to compare themselves to others and declare themselves to be better off. Comparing disabilities and troubles in a effort to feel better about one's self is a special kind of whining.

"I felt bad for myself because I had no shoes, til I met a man with no feet."

Guess what? My lack of shoes isn't going to help footless Joe any, and if I get frostbite, I'll lose my feet, too. And then I won't be in any kind of position to help footless, if I was so moved.

The one legged beautiful girl, the blind lad and the deaf child might all have elements in their lives that are far superior to someone with both limbs, sight and hearing, and they might not want to trade places with someone who is whole, because it just might be a step down.

I like the poem and can identify with it. I have had 34 surgeries on my eyes so that I can see, I am diabetic. I have arthritis and sometimes am so stiff and in so much pain that I have trouble walking. I thank God everytime I see a sunset and walk with my family.

I can see and I can walk so yes I like that poem.
