Alright here's the question in a simple form there are two different paths the man needs to know which path to take there is a machine in which he can drop a coin and ask a question. Although there are two different types of machines and three different types of coins, abc being different coins and 12 being different robots here's what I have Machine one tells the truth for coin a while lying with coin b or c. machine 2 tells the truth with coin a and b but lies with coin c. the hint in the book said that you have to ask a hypothetical question within the question, again two machines three coins 1a=+ 1b and 1c=- 2a and 2b=+ 2c+- so I just need to figure out one question that will determine if the robot is telling the truth but to also know which direction to go thanks in advance guys

If one path is bare and the other contains a decent enemy, with a pretty wench behind him, choose the hard path for the reward and ransom back the fool for profit.
