These Homeowner Association (HOA) people know
exactly how the burbs should be, and bring their vision
to life. This once pristine land converted to new housing,
strategically placed trees, and the removal of natural
flora and fauna, is suited perfectly for the modern human.
Most people that choose to live in this faux landscape
are content, for worries are non-existent, aside from HOA fees.
Competition between neighbors for the greenest lawn, &c. &c.
have given way to more important worries, as in finding
expert dog-walkers that 'fears not the crap' that must be
policed.
Life in this man-made environment, is relatively easy.
For those few who are against this, they are quick to accept
the strict rules of the governing body of the anal leaders,
comparable to something as foolish as Scientology with funny
military style salutes.
My reasoning behind this treatise came to life when this
morning I saw rabbits that apparently either refused to leave
their home, or could not be eradicated such as the natural
predators on this land.
The rabbits live in the seemingly endless rock walls near
the road and sidewalk, or rather dog path, made hastily with
huge boulders by non-expert migrant laborers.
The fluffy bunny's, much to my surprise, have not exploded
in numbers as one would naturally expect. On the other
hand, the have adapted to the color of the large rocks
in which they reside, and have grown to a huge size.
This ingenius selection has had the unnatural effect
of size rather than numbers. As a person who is not a
Naturalist, I can't find the advantage of size versus
numbers. Don't get me wrong, I've loved rabbits since I
read Watership Down as wee lad.
These oversized bunny rabbits are thriving, and fear not
the neighborhood dogs, for it is the law they are on leashes,
with pooh stations along the way.
I fear the rabbits will grow large as Volkswagons one day and start
attacking the dogs first, then the people. Hopefully they will start
with the HOA.
Thanks for reading guys. This is true and was at my sis's house.
