This site is amazing. I usually end up spending hour after hour learning new tropes. Great for writers of narrative. Probably won't be that helpful for poets (unless you plan on writing an epic story with your poem

its interesting not for its intentions but the way it's organized and the specificity of how each is explained to be applied imo otherwise i would never outright use it for finding something to write about or to learn about what i should already know

Well yeah, it's not there to find something to write about, it's just fun learning about all the different tropes which can be extremely useful for writers. There are thousanRAB of tropes on the site, so I can guarantee you don't know all of them
