A tingling effect

this will be the first time i have ever spoken of what i have, due to the fact people may laugh as this isnt standard  hopefully its okay to post this here.
the effect: a powerful yet addictive and quite soothing tingling that begins at the temples and back of my brain, then echoes down through the rest of my body.
the cause: (to give a few exmaples that seen to create the strongest effect)
recieving a massage (particlarly my arms)
watching a massage
watching someone paint in detail (this stimulation i get seems to be very specific in what sets it off)
one time my uncle laying bricks and cement
certain people sketching / drawing (again, its very specific)
decorators doing the neighbors sills over the road:confused:

these are only a few examples that seem to set this sensation off, and i will be honest i do enjoy it and sometimes seek to stimulate it sometimes through watching youtube videos of massage and the like. It does seem to bring on a fairly instant relaxation. Can anyone diagnose this and why it happens which some of the random events i have just outlined?
thanks in advance, Rik:wave:

when you paint/decorate/lay bricks you can get muscle twinges and soreness and tingling. Rotate you shoulders and head gently in a circular movement, massage just under the shoulder blade, and get your spine checked.
somehow your brain has now positively reinforced the tingling pleasureable sensation with what you see, and it seems you don't want to give it up.. therefore you are feeding this habitual response by associating it with massage and ****** movies. so you are choosing this response.

intruiging. i think today i will write down anything thats sets it off - undeliberately and then post it on here. this is really intruiged me. does this happen to a lot of people?
