a threat to californians? ?

The recent Earthquake in California was pretty high, but they are saying we will have a bigger one soon. I live a little far away from Chino Hills and LA. i don't know if i should be prepared to die or try to survive.
These notices of an big earthquake is becoming a real big fear to me.
I'm scared it will happen when my parents aren't home and i'm alone with my dog and my brother. What can i do.
Do yoou think this Earthquake will deestory everything and kill millions of people?
i live in Garden Grove, with is not that far from the places that started the most recent earthquake.

No, don't be worried. The "experts" have been saying the "Big One" will hit someday, they have been saying that for the last 35 years. You need to know what you should do in case of an earthquake for your own safety. I have lived in California my entire life and I have felt quite a few earthquakes but I would never want to live where there are tornadoes and hurricanes. We are pretty safe here. The fire danger is more threatening than an earthquake and you have a greater chance of being killed in an automobile accident than in an earthquake. Just live your life.
