Do you think we could reverse the warming earth by simply planting a vast number of trees to use the carbon dioxide trapped in our atmosphere?

Yes thats using the the old noodle, in fact you don't even need to plant them;just stop cutting them down. ,however no one will ever suggest this as it doesn't involve huge amounts of extra taxation( currently estimated at $27000 per household in the uk)Haven't you caught on yet , we can only 'save' the world by paying more taxes, more for everything and ruining industry in the developed world.

we could, but that would require an immense amount of trees, as well as a reduction on cutting trees. we would also need to cut back on co2 emissions, otherwise planting more trees wouldn't be really helpful. we wouldn't really be reversing the warming of the earth, but slowing it down more or less.

we couldn't reverse it like that if we keep emitting carbon dioxide from our cars. I think the best step to take is to find an alternative fuel source.

It would help...if humans were actually CAUSING global "warming", with increased carbon emissions and other ozone depleting sunbstances they arent, its a natural cycle, all the planets are warming/cooling not just Earth, it has to do with the earths declining magnetic field and a special 2012 precession of the equinoxes, but the government doesnt like to tell complete truths, just half truths. There is nothing we can do about global "warming", it should be called global change, because warming is misleading in that we are at the end of a VERY LARGE warming cycle, so we are entering a new large cooling cycle, this cant be stopped, its at the end of its cycle, it needs to start over, its like trying to change time, not possible. So your tree idea would help to slow down some of the negative impacts, like a large decrease in life population, but at the most we would only help to clean up our current pollution, you cant reverse it until you stop polluting from anything, zero pollution. Good idea, but the elites know that there is no climate change fix, only something to slow it down, a smoother transition.
No that would not necessarily reverse the climate change because that's not the only thing going on that is damaging our Earth. There are ice caps melting and oil in our oceans so yes planting trees would help with the air as far as having more oxygen and animals but that wouldn't solve all the problems.
