A Team Orange advert

Currently showing in cinema is a trailer for the A Team.

5 mins later you get them doing the A Team ad for Orange

Liam Neesom does not look at all pleased when he delivers his line.

Very bad decision.

Its been running for months. Im fed up with it now. That damn theme tune goes round in my head when the film starts and I cant get rid of it! Its an odd advert, all over the place and doesnt make much sense.

Shocked at the Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, considering they're big hollywood stars.

Honestly, I've never heard of these movies (apart from Predator, but that was from word of mouth), I'm not sure many films do intensive marketing these days, even Shrek didn't do much.

I don't really mind product placement it's just when you see the 4 actors reading a script from Orange that something is not right.
Shall have to get used to it though as everyone has to make a living.

That's the whole point though. It's not really product placement because it's an advert for the company so it's main purpose is selling it's product. It's no different to Cheryl Cole advertising Shampoo or Roger Federer advertising a razor. It's also meant as a little signal to turn your phone off. Don't let a mobile ruin your movie the way orange has ruined the (fake) A-Team movie.

I'm not trying to be funny or cheeky but you do realise it's only a mock commerical and it's not an ACTUAL proper trailer for the movie?

i hate this advert

it looks initially like liam neeson fluRAB his line but i assume it is part of the (desperately unfunny) 'joke' that he isn't happy about doing the product placement

these orange aRAB are terrible, i wish they would stop them

It's not as bad as the odeon premiere card ad. With the 'He'll be Back' joke (if you can call it that) at the end. I go to the movies at least once a week and must have seen that ad at least 50 times now, it makes me want to shoot myself.

Yes, i know it's a mock advert and i understand what you are saying....maybe on the 3rd time i see it (off to see Inception again) I may back down and not be so hard. Still, I think that seeing Liam Neesom do those lines mock or not - i still think he must think what the hell am i doing this sh*t for - i was a Jedi master once upon a time.

That A Team Orange advert was awful. I much preferred the old style Orange adverts with that bloke that looked like Andy Hunter from Eastenders, where actors would do their pitch to him. Mini Me, Darth Vader, Hobbit guy etc.
