A-Team Movie - Why so late?

The A-Team movie for most countries is coming out tomorrow, but for us in the UK, it's coming out a month and twenty days later on the 30th of July. What possible reason can there be for this? I couldn't find much with cursory googling :/

I imagine it's the same reason we get Toy Story 3 over a month after the US.

one month, I thought the release date was July 5th but obviously I'm wrong.....

I 'spose it didn't want to go up against Twilight, Inception and Toy story 3......

yea film scheduling is a mystery. Who knows what each regional decisions are doing and what they have to deal with. They do have to choose their competition at the screens etc.

After deep consideration as being a massive fan of the series, I just watched this via the usual suspects & I gotta say that it is 1 of the best films I have seen in a longtime & will def be buying it when it gets released on DVD / Bluray.

It isn't a remake of the series at all, but is in fact a prequel set in modern times on how they all got together.

I agree. Watched it earlier. A lot better than I expected.
