Finally, next year will see the release of the A-Team movie!

But I am concerned by some of the casting rumors going around.

Some say:

Hannibal (Bruce Willis)
Murdoch (Woody Harrelson)
Face (Christain Bale)
B.A (Ice Cube)

Who I want:

Hannibal (Pierce Brosnan)
Murdoch (MUST BE: Jim Carrey!) (please not Woody)
Face (undecided)
B.A (possibly Ving Rhames)

Oh and someone like Tommy Lee Jones as Decker.
 
I cant really see Christan Bale playing Face. For a start, he seems too busy at the moment to add another potential franchise to his plans and, secondly, he seems too big a star to play what will essentially be a supporting role (cause I'm guessing the emphasis will be on Hannibal in this film)
 
again, i cant see that happening. Jim Carrey would ask for too much and considering he is one of four leading men (plus a villain+ plus loaRAB of stunts) i doubt the production would be able to afford him.

Also, it depenRAB on how they are treating the source material. If they are going for a tongue in cheek comedy approach (a la Starsky and Hutch, Dukes of Hazzard, etc) then I think Carrey would be great. But I suspect they are gonna reinvent the franchise and play it straight (think Mission Impossible, Miami Vice) and i cant see Jim Carrey's over acting style fitting in with this.

How about Johnny Knoxville for that role?
 
Hannibal - George Clooney
Murdoch - Jim Carey (please...don't even try and suggest anyone else)
Face- hmmm Christian Bale is probably the best bet.
BA- Big fella from Green milk
 
No wonder remakes are crap if they listen to people like you guys. Michael Clark Duncan does not suit the BA role. He looks like he is more gay than manly. And that is not meant as disrespect to him, I am judging him based on his appearance only. Ving Rhames looks more manly than MCD will ever be. Ving is more suitable to the role, not Michael Clark Duncan.
 
Still don't see wht Mr T. can't still play BA...

Someone suggested Johnny Knoxville for Murdoch, I'd be ok with that, seems as in my mind Jim Carey isn't actualy very funny. However Steve Buscemi could do a blinding job in this role and would be my choice

Could also see maybe Owen Wilson in the Face role, provided he was better by then.
 
Yes well the first part of finding the right actor for the role is to find one suitable in looks and the battle to find the right person is almost won. So roll your eyes all you like, it wont change a thing. Ving Rhames is way more suitable than Duncan.

No limit - who would you cast?

I think we have come to the conclusion is.

Hannibal - Clooney... Although 10 years ago Anthony Hopkins and Leslie Neilson would have been a consideration.

Face - Matt Damon / Leo Di Caprio.... Although 10 years ago... Scott Baluka.

Murdock.... This IS Jim Carrey's role. All my mates agreed straight away.

BA - Tough one.... Some names mentioned with my mates... Vin Disel, The Rock, Mike Tyson (has the look, but not the voice).

Amy - The Journalist / Totty.... Sandra Bullock.
 
No disrespect to Wilson, but the Face man has got to be someone conventionally beautiful (and I am a straight man saying that).
 
Jim can tone it down also - remember the Trueman show.

Plus - Howlin Mad Murdock was exactly that (or was he?).. They've got to be true to the franchise. He's got to surely have spells in the rehab centre.
