A suitable body-building diet?

Ok, I'm 16, and after my exams finish in a few weeks, I'll have an extended Summer =) But I've decided, I want to 'improve' myself over the summer holidays and will join the local gym!

I know that in order to do this, I will have to change my diet, and I am hoping all you fitness instructors out there see this, and can advise me what I should eat etc. But I am a picky eater and hate most vegetables, so let's try to stay off them if it can be helped.

I don't want to body-build to become amazingly strong or an Olympic weightlifter or anything, I'd just like to fill out a bit and have fairly toned biceps/triceps, deltoids, abs, pecs etc. Just so I don't look skeletal and too scrawny anymore!

And if possible, do you know how far that goal can be achieved in 6-8 weeks? :)
