This is a sort of real-life riddle that I'm trying to solve.
Someone on yahoo answers is considering selling me a projector. I need a way that I can give him his money and make sure he sends me the projector. I don't want him to have to send me the projector and have only my word that he will be paid for it. At the same time, I don't want to send him money and not know if he's a crook who won't send the projector. Not to mention it's risky to send money in the mail.
The only Idea I've had is for him to post it on e-bay with a "buy-now" price that we've agreed upon, and me be waiting at the designated time to immediately click "buy-now" as soon as it is posted. The problem with this is that he cannot use credit cards...

Anyone got any ideas?
I know that he is underage. It's not a secret. I am under 18 as well.
yes it is really happening

hmmm quite the predicament you have here, I'm assuming a commute is out of the question...

maybe you could pay half now half later after it is delivered? That way you only stand to lose half the investment and he knows you are serious.

I think this is really happening. If he can't use credit cards he is probably underage and is trying to scam you.

type out a contract online, send it through email. not verbal, proof. then, send the money and projector, and if one does not follow through, you can sue with the proof of the contract
