A SLVR of disappointment...

So, I like the SLVR. It's a sleek phone, but it's a bit unfriendly as far as texting/WAP is concerned.

What are your suggestions for a phone? I see a lot of people are using the PPC6700 and the VX9900/9800. I'm not afraid of modding something (in fact, I love doing that. I used to be an old-school AMPS hack back in the day, starting vehicles via the horn alert wire!).

So, enlighten me, forum. What phone should I get that'll be modding-friendly, text/wap friendly, and that I can use on Cricket?

Get the PPC6700 if you want a PDA phone, or a enV is your want a "pretty" phone both not that hard to mod

the envy has a 2 meg and the 6700 has wifi...

yeah i like the camera on the enV. Also the qwerty keyboard and dual screens, but i love the PDA features of the 6700 wifi, bluetooth touch screen so much.

Upstage is a good choice too when it comes to touch bottons, mp3, voice texting, etc.... but i still havent figured out WAP, just MMS
