A simple Answer on why USA went to war with Iraq?

My english teacher said that it wasn't really just about the 9/11 or the terrorist attack but it was also about the oil. Apparently there are a lot of oil and fuel in Iraq which US is trying to get.
 
its not for 9-11 its actually for oil they want to sell us oil for a high price but we want it for low and we got mad and started fighting for it.
