Im thinking about buying the 09 Cycle Ops Fluid 2 Trainer with the mat & slick tire & front wheel riser al for $420 total. All items are top of line. Then i had second thought about, the Stamina Air Resistance up right bike for $97 dollars or the Marcy magnetic Resistance bike for $142 dollars. Both of these stationary bikes has tension cables on them.Which due think would give me a better work out.Is their any comparison's.The 2 stationary bikes are sold at walmart, lol lol. Thanks 1/29/09.Please be honest with your answers

I like dedicated stationary bikes. Trainers wear down tires very quickly. You are putting wear on your components when you are not on the road. Finally, you sweat a lot when riding indoors. Sweat is corrosive to both the bike and its components. You have to manage sweat very carefully to keep your bike in peak condition when you put it into a trainer.
