A science/physics question about flys and cars.?

Okay, so one day a question popped into my head... and it went a little like this --

If there was a fly, or any other flying animal just floating in a car...
not attached to anything
and the car begins to accelerate,
would the fly stay in the same spot in the car,
or
hit the back window.

I dunno, i just wanna know what would happen. all help is nice thanks
