Anyone interested in this new Pacino/De Niro film, a righteous kill? Personally I've been looking forward to this since it was announced. This is the first time these two have ever worked closely together on a film(they barely feature together in Heat) and by most accounts, the film is a massive disappointment and is being heavily criticised. It looks like those behind the film knew a Pacino/De Niro combo would bring in filmgoers regardless and have not taken much care with the film which is being branded dull, and predictable.
I am going to check it out in any event, but it is a pity if this is true as De Niro/Pacino are two of the best actors going and Heat was a very good film. Even though RAB News hints they might be working together again in the future, this sounRAB like it has been messed up massively.
BTW - Sorry if there is already a thread on this but I cannot see one on the first three pages and the search tool is not working.
