1) What would people say when drinking shots as a group, if anything?
2) When speaking with a female friend and talking about another man, would you avoid using expressions like "a piece of a#s" ? My guess is that most men would, because women are used to being referred to this way and don't like to hear anyone called something like that.
3) Do young gay men call each other "girls" the way older ones used to? Or use expressions like "sugart*ts"?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

1) huh?

2) no

3) I've seen drag queens call everyone but the drag kings they are performing with and the guy they're flirting with "she", that includes traditionally "masculine" straight men who happen to be touristing the bar that night with their girlfriends

but no "sugartits", we're not Mel GIbson

(1) The conversation varies greatly, depending on the individuals involved. It can cover the gamut from theatre, to music, to philosophy, to penis size, to community organizing or gay events.

(2) Eeww, I would not call a guy that. That is coarse.

(3) No, they call each other guys. We are not girls, we are guys.

1) Anything can be said! "Let's toast to c0cks", "I like llamas", "To health!", "Long live Barack Obama", etc... This is a very general question...
2) Some gay men would use that phrase, others would not. The same as with straight men.
3) Some might, others don't. I personally don't, and neither do my friends. And I also seriously doubt that ALL gay men of the last generation used those phrases, I doubt that even 20% of them used to say that.

What kind of research is this for?
