I just checked my e-mail and I got this message from another Yahoo! Answers member (undoubtedly someone who didn't like what I had to say) basically calling me an idiot, a "rude player", told me to go to hell, and that they and their little band of egotistical morons planned to get me suspended. At the time, I just raised my eyebrows, laughed, and deleted the e-mail, but I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I was pretty pissed off.
So my real question is this; has society really come to this? I'm commonly in Books and Authors giving critique on people's writing pieces when they ask for it, and just because I don't believe in lying and sugar-coating my answers, people get mad. Because I tell them what's wrong with their writing and give a detailed and honest critique, regardless of whether I get Best Answer or not, and I recieve nothing but an inbox packed with Violation Notices.
And like I said, I wasn't really mad before, but now I've spiralled in to a completely new demension of pissed-off. I want some justice! And it's not just happening to me. A contact and friend of mine "KK" just went through something very similar to me. You can never me honest around here because you always have to worry about what some melodramtic twelve-year-old with a low self-esteem is going to do to you.
So to all of those people who got their pants in a bunch over something I had to say; do the world a favor and grow up. You think I'm bad? There are people in the world much nastier and opinionated than I. Yahoo Answers is a very large and diverse community, with very diverse opinions. Just because they're not IDENTICAL to yours doesn't mean you can report them and create a little army of egotistical brats to suspend them. It's foolish and naive to think for a second that the real world will be sweet as pie towards you and politely agree with everything you say.
And to those who respect my opinion as they would any other person; thank you. I appreciate your support, and I hold you all in the highest respect.
And so ends my rant/PSA. If you have no clue what I'm talking about, I'm sorry. You don't have to answer.

Ducky S - I'd gladly critique your work. Just send me an e-mail through YA and I'll respond with my regular one, and then I'll critique it.
