A quick question about my Razr v3m on Cricket

Currently, I am using the Alltel firmware with Cricket's PRL so I can still use the memory card function (so I can use my cell as an MP3 Player).

When Septeraber (College Football Season) rolls around, I am going to want to use the Internet function on my cell.

Here are my 3 questions...

In Septeraber, Can I flash the v3c Cricket firmware on my cell and have the internet working?

If I put the Cricket v3c firmware on, In January of 2008, Can I put the Alltel v3m firmware back on and get my memory card capabilities back (I understand I would lose the internet)?

Last, After I flash the phone, Would I have to call Cricket and "reactivate" the phone or should a *228 take care of things after the flash? The phone is currently activated on Cricket.

Yes you can flash it to the cricket V3c software then later flash it back to the alltel V3m software and have your transflash card option back :D
 
you don't need to tell cricket. you might need to reprogram the phone with your mdn/min

edit: you might need to ask cricket to turn on WAP/MMS etc and refresh the account, but you don't need to do esn change or anything.
