i have to do a career research project for english, and i've chosen to research lawyers. i'm not exactly sure what field i'd like to specialize in, but i know i want to be a trial lawyer. i want to start out as an associate in a moderate sized law firm and hopefully become a partner. once i have enough experience, i'd like to go into private practice.
