A question for teens: do you think sex education should be offered in public schools?

Why or why not?
If so, at what age?
I know it is offered in most schools,
my question is: do you think it SHOULD
be offered.

Yes. I believe it should start in Grade 5.

Parents should be able to opt their children out for religious
beliefs.

Just take a look around and ask some questions to kids/teens.

They don't know sh*t about sex education, are having babies left and right, and getting aids/stds.

Yes. Because some parents are uncomfortable talking about it with their children and would prefer having someone else do it. I believe they should offer it in middle school. Due to the young age that our children are becoming active you want to try to educate them before they do. Sex education should not be a required class but should be offered and at the parents consent only. Some parents would rather talk to their children building a bond that will allow the child to feel comfortable with asking future questions.
