A question for fans of Boston sports...?

How can you claim that you're more dedicated than fans of New York sports when all of your teams have been frontrunners at some point over the last 8 years?

I guarantee you that it takes more dedication to be a fan of the Jets or the Knicks or the Mets or the Rangers or even the Yankees in the last 8 years than it takes to be a fan of the Pats, Celtics, Bruins or Sox.

It's easy to be dedicated to your teams when you have stacked rosters and win or contend for championships every other year.

Real dedication shows when you still bleed your teams colors whether in last place or hoisting the championship trophy.
The Red Sox, Celtics and Pats are stacked as a team gets outside of the Yankees and Lakers...
Also, most of you probably don't really remember being Red Sox fans when they were that bad.

And believe me, following the Jets is more painful than anything, except maybe the Cubs.

Well we're the ones who suffered through all those years of not having a championship and you're the ones who complain that we're not true fans because our teams are good. If you want to see true fans, anyone who is a fan of the Nationals, Wizards and Redskins is a TRULY dedicated fan and if you are fans of them I respect you.

I'm sorry.. Aren't the Yankees the ones who BUY all their players in free agency and don't even get to the World Series?
