a question for all N73 owners!!!

The creaks don't bother me so much, although I have to say that Nokia phone build quality really does seem to be lacking compared to other makes (I've had Sony-Ericsson and Samsung). The fact that it's so slow and unstable does bother me though. Hopefully, a firmware fix will sort out the issues.
 
well i dropped mine from my ear onto the hard kitchen floor (im about 6') and it didnt even scratch or dent. pretty solid to me. im not happy with the phone for other reasons though...
 
Just to put my two cents in... I think the N73 is one of the best phones I have used. I have had no problems with "creaking" and no issues with the joystick. The phone has never crashed, and has excellent sound quality. Not sure if it makes a difference, but my N73 was made in Finland.
 
so what if a nokia phone is made in finland or china.. you guys that seem to think that finland made nokia's are so muvh better are nuts..think about it... if nokia wants to stay a forrunner in the cell manufaturers competition,, why would they want certain country based phones to be more superior than other countries!!??
BTW,, my Brand New N73 is made in FINLAND and the casing creaks awful!!
my theory is that with all phones, no matter what brand or model, there are going to be little bugs, glitches with a certain batch of them!! look at the SE k790A,, and some people have complained about the lens cover being looser than a goose!!

i think my joystick is on its way out. its making new creaking noises everytime i use it. it might have to do with the size of my hand and how i hold it tho. for me the keypad is set too low so it places my hand and thumb in particular in an awkward position. i thougt i could get used to it but its been like 3 months and im still not comfortable with it. if it breaks, im back to my 6681 until the n95.
 
made in Finland must make a difference because mine creaks and crashes like a mofo...cant wait for the n95 so I can put this thing up on the bay....incredible camera and video, not to mention screen but until a new FW is released, I find myself using my E61 and 8801 more and more
