A question for Al Gore - What is the best solution to Climate Change?

What is the simplest solution - To get everyone to properly inflate tires, use cloth bags, carpool, reduce meat consumption, eliminate bottled water, buy minimally packaged goods, and use hybrid cars... or... to impose worldwide population control?

I think:

OPTION A - is too complex, inconvenient and impossible to implement on a global scale.
OPTION B - is politically unacceptable.

doesn't that leave us with:

OPTION C - the world is screwed?

What do you really believe is the best solution to Climate Change? I hope to hear your thoughts, Mr.Al Gore..

<<What ever makes him money and proves him right.>>

He gives all that money away.

Strange how you "skeptics" do not have the "skepticism" to investigate to see whether the lies you were told are true.

Al was thrust in to the lime light with C.C. because he basically stated/pointed out the obvious, when digging up ancient sunlight from 400 million years ago it is going to have consequences. It doesn't take a genius to understand burning stored atmospheric carbon is going to turn the Earth back into the planet it was 400 million years ago.
One of the best scholars in what humans have to do to save themselves is Lester Brown, you should ask him.

Step #1: Educate yourself. Learn more about climate change, and how by taking shorter, colder showers, using mass transit, etc., we can feel empowered and part of the solution, even if we are part of the problem at the same time.

Step #2: Help motivate politicians to work at the local, national and international level to change the way we do business. Help retool those industries that need it, help retrain the unemployed to work in the businesses of the future, businesses that are environmentally sustainable.

Step #3: Come up with an interim plan in Copenhagen, and be doing the studies and research needed to implement more focused, long term plans in the near future.

The site below has been invaluable to me in learning more about what's going on in a global climate change world. The "Climate Change News" section is unparalleled.

There is no simple solution, but there are solutions.
