This is a question about Verizon Wireless. I am currently with Verizon Wireless and I am due for a new phone. My old one, The Motorola Rival got water damage and will not work anymore so I am temp using my dads Samsung till we can afford to get me a new phone with the new 2 year upgrade.
The question is about the smartphones aka the 3g smartphones. How much does it cost to upgrade to a 3g smartphone? I wanted to upgrade to a HTC Droid Eris but then the new HTC Droid Incredible came out. I really would like to get that one instead.
BUT I was reading a newspaper article on the phone itself and it mentioned that you would have to pay an extra 70 dollars for the digital package NOT including digital voice and texting per month along with your plan. IS that true for all the 3g smart phones on verizon wireless?
My mother said that she isnt going to pay the extra 70 some bucks a month for a phone.. that is red. she said. But I wanted to ask to see if that is true or only effects just that phone itself. Because if it does with just that phone, I might just get another 3g smartphone like the samsung Omnia II or the Droid Eris.
I am def looking to stay with a phone that has built in wi fi.
