My fiance always wanted to join the army, but we decided it would be better for the future family we wanted, if he didn't join. I feel really bad how he isn't able to pursue his 'dream', while I'm pursuing the career I always wanted... and I was wondering if there was someway he could be involved in the army sort of thing, without actually being IN it. I don't want him to go to war, or be on call 24 hours a day. I want him to be able to be at home, instead of at bases all over the place... but I heard the reserves is good? Is there something he can be involved in that's either like the army, or a small part of it?
