A question about puppy sleeping on ceramic floor ?

I have a 3 months GSD puppy and i don't know if its right or wrong to let him sleep indoors on the ceramic floor, is this can make him sick or get cold ? i always try to put a blanket under him and on leash so he don't leave the blanket underneath, i feel like its wrong to keep him on leash, and if the ceramic floor wont make him sick if he sleeps on it, he would be a little more free.
i live in Egypt and the weather is 20-23 at its coldest days., thanks in advance :))
you are saying its okay and its fine, but why do i feel like the floor is cold for his stomach ??
and when i take him off leach he just leaves the blanket and chooses to sleep on the floor ?

Most dogs like it a little bit cool. Their fur coats keep them warm enough. I would take him off the leash and let him sleep where he wants. Leave the blanket out on the floor just in case he wants to sleep there instead.
 
Let him sleep on the ceramic floor he will be fine and I would recommend not keeping him on leash, the leash might be worse for him because if he senses something he might need to move. Dogs even save lives sometime in fires or storms. My dog sleeps on a ceramic floor sometimes, and shes fine! :) hope this helps!
 
Let him lay anywhere he wants to. Take him off the leash, if he's cold he will move. Animals are a lot smarter than people give credit for.

I doubt that the coolness of your tile floor will pose a health issue for your GSD -- dogs are quite smart, if they are too cold, they will likely move to change that...HOWEVER...

Something you do need to be aware of now while he is young. As time goes by and your dog begins to grow and gain weight, lying on a hard surface like tile or a cement patio...or a wood floor, your dog will be exerting a lot of pressure on his elbows and after awhile he will very likely end up developing permanent calluses on his elbows...sometimes they can become very painful -- dry/cracked, etc. These dark, leathery calluses will have the appearance of the pad of a dog's foot and can become quite dense and large in size.

So, for that reason alone I would suggest breaking him of this habit now...very early on. Get him used to lying down on a dog bed or blanket to keep that from occurring.
