A question about pop culture in 2009?
Ok, im 20..but from what ive seen, ever since the dawn of mankind, human beings have always been fascinated with entertainment, and whether it was a shakespeare play in the year 1590, or Lady gaga's new hit single of 2009..people watched, and whatever the style of
music,clothing,hair,makeup,clothes....... it would blend into the public, and that would make pop culture, right? Now, we have movies, on the other side and tv shows, where i love lucy, in the 1950's, family matters and full house in the 90's and....sadly..the real world or flavor of love..(sad world we live in) in 2009...all affected pop culture, maybe not as much as music, but near it. So my question is: I'm seeing an increase in more skin, more sex, more drugs, more alcohol, more rehab, more magazines, tv, and media exploiting this.....and you can't deny this is happening unless you really don't look around you.
So my question is....how will this affect pop culture, and our teens, and do you agree that it's starting to affect them younger and younger?
