A Question About JanSport Backpacks?

I know the JanSport backpacks are really cute (yay), but that concern is overridden by my need for functionality. If I were to get a JanSport bag, I would get this one, as it seems to be the largest one that they make (2101.7 cubic inches of space):

According to the JanSport website, this is all the items that will fit into this bag at once:
3-5 textbooks
Laptop computer
1-3 large binders
Paperback books
Spiral notebooks
Calculator
Pens and pencils
Bag lunch
Cellphone
MP3 Player
Gym clothes
Sweatshirt

For some reason, I'm finding it to be a little fishy that ALL of this will fit into this this one bag.. all at once. If it does, this is the perfect bag for me! But unfortunately, if this is not true, I will need to keep looking. I am also considering this bag, from The North Face (2260 cubic inches of space):

Any personal experiences with this JanSport, or other, smaller, Jansport bags? Any comments on their quality and durability, and ability to fit stuff? (and if you can compare to North Face bags would be excellent!)
