This Is What It Is

Guest
Okay, so this weekend is the free fishing weekend in Michigan and I plan on going, however, I am wondering, my son is just about 6 months old, if I go on a boat should he be wearing a life jacket? I mean, 6 months isn't too young to take a kid out on a boat is it?? I wouldn't think so, but I am curious about other peoples opinions! Thanks!
Yeah, I was considering just staying on shore but my parents will be going and my mom had asked me this question....
Perhaps I should add that the boat is not like a yacht :) It's an aluminum boat, and it will be full, my mother had also told me when my younger brother was 6 months she found a life jacket for him, although I can't imagine my son being very happy with wearing one :)

I wouldn't take him. He'd get frustrated and would cry very often. Not to mention it's not very safe. He's still to small. Take him next year. If you decide to take him make sure someone else is there to help keep an eye on him and make sure he does have a life jacket!

I took my son earlier out on a lake anyways yes look into getting a life jack or keep him close soo you are able to grab him ,you can also put a life jacket around his stroller or car seat if hes in those and that can help i did cause my son was too small for a life jacket .
