a question about financial aid?

hi, im a new student and i start in the fall 2009 semester. i applied for financail aid and all that and i have already paid for my tuition. according to the lady at the desk i have 2500 left for books and supplies. my question is, i want a macbook pro, they cost 1200. after books, can financial aid buy my laptop as well?
 
yes. it can, they send you a check and you are sopposed to use it to help with school.
so buying a laptop would benifit you.

we bought my boyfriend a car with his.
had to get to college right?
