Why are some people trying to stop it while others are destroying the rainforests and flying planes everywhere, etc.? Everyone knows about it, but it doesn't make sense to me how people can not care so much. :/

Climate is nothing humans can affect or control. There is just no way and to believe we can is ludicrous. The few billion tons of so-called greenhouse gases humans release per year doesn't even register compared to how much greenhouse gas is naturally released by the Earth, sometimes in one day (think volcanic eruptions). I dunno, to me it's just common sense that there is no way people are changing the Earth's climate. Today, as in history and prehistory, any climate change is a part of a natural cycle.
In re: to those that are supposedly doing so much for the planet because OMG THE END IS NEAR AND THE PLANET IS WARMING BECAUSE OF US! and they care so much, consider this: supposedly Al Gore cares a great deal, but he uses a crazy amount of electricity at home every month and flies in a private plane everywhere. What about practicing what you preach? Obviously, he cares more about the money. The whole global warming, climate change thing is nothing more than a money-making political agenda that uses numbers and scare tactics to get you to willingly hand over your hard-earned money to support.
That's the rare rant from my end. I'll go back to taco jokes now.
