A question about ceramic heat emitters...?

Okay, so I am getting a leopard gecko soon and I am setting up the cage. I got a ceramic heat emitter and I also have 5.5" lamp clamp. I am confused, because on the box for the lamp clamp it says "for use with incandescent bulbs or ceramic heat emitters", but on the CHE box it says "Use ONLY with the Wire Light Fixture". Can I just use the regular one that I have already? I've already been to the frekin pet store twice in the last two days, so I really would rather just use the one I have.

As long as the Wattage rating of the CHE does not exceed the lamp fixture wattage rating you are fine. The 5.5 domes, depending on brand, can use up to 100w.
