I'm attending college for paralegal studies at this current time and I'm planning on continuing on to graduate school for a joint MBA/JD degree.
The problem is I'm really not sure what kind of law I should be involved with. I'm having trouble deciding. I'm thinking about just going into general practice, but I want to specialize in at least one branch of law as well.
There are four different law practices that I was interested in, but I'm open to alternatives. They are Criminal, Family, Immigration, or Civil Rights. I was wondering if anyone had experience in these practices or if they knew any specifics that may make me more inclined towards one over the others? Which one would I be able to help people the most? Which would I need to be in order to become a District Attorney?
