Saw this last night, and as the reviews indicate, it is very good. It will probably be catagorised as an art house film, simply because its French, but is very mainstream and if you like stuff like American Gangster and the Departed, then am sure you would enjoy this.

I watched it a couple of days ago and thought it was brilliant. The story was very engaging and it flowed really well considering the film was close to 3 hours long. I thought the guy who played Malik was excellent in his role too and it was cool seeing his character develop throughout the film. Overall its summat i would recommend people to see if they can.:)

Looks good, however, no chance of my local cinema's showing it as it has subtitles and the average chav in my town won't see it it, so it won't be commercially viable for them to show it....even though having 7 screens of Avatar should cover the costs for a limited run...

Very True, I'm nearly always forced to watch foreign films such as this online or i'll have to wait till there out on DVD because theres so little places that bother to show them.

I stand humbly corrected - Swindon Empire is actually showing it from Friday, and 3 shows per day too...I am overjoyed!! Maybe I have got too used to the actions of the other cinema (Cineworld), and Empire are actually starting to be a bit more diverse!
