a promblem with my sound card that's built in my laptop (ESS Maestro 2E)?

i notice when i start my computer everything's fine everything's wowrking but it seems a couple mins later (30 mins to an hour) when im on the mic with my friends it starts echoing....how can i get it to stop echoing.....and it does help when i restart it but i wanna fix this problem...not keep restarting my comp.uter
