A pretty American Town with lots of wildlife?

In your opinion, which American town do you know of is really pretty, with lots of wildlife?

Please give a description, with it's ups and downs, and what you like to do there.

Personally, I'm not planning on moving, but I AM writing a story, and who knows? Your answer may end up being the setting it takes place in.
 
I must say my hometown of Frazee Minnesota is. There is always something exciting to see. It is a small town though, which I love about it. The leaves in the fall are so beautiful.
