A possible Nokia Windows Phone 7 device?

According to this Venture Beat piece, an inside source has confirmed the likelihood that Nokia will be shipping a device running Microsoft's new Windows Phone 7, as an additional OS strategy.

I don't have a problem using Windows as my computer OS, but WinMo (pre 7 devices) phones definitely fall below the Symbian ladder IMO...

On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being most probable, I rate the likelihood of WM7 on Nokia devices at 0.9. That said, I enjoyed the discussion of the turnaround in developer sentiment with the introduction of Qt.

Seriously? WP7 was predictable because Elop worked at MS? He worked in the MS Office group and had NOTHING to do with mobile products. It's like Nokia hiring the guy in charge of Quicktime development and everyone thinking that they are suddenly going to run iOS.

Nope, I highly highly doubt this. Nokia is moving more towards Symbian ^3 and Meego, they have no need to bond with the Windows operating system giant.
