The Learnin' of a Buk Feller
by Koye Lott

Put down yer jugs o shine
Spit yer wad of chew
Lemme tell yer a tale bout
What may happen to you

See Pa thought Buk was cheating
getting Ornery with his wife
So Pa took to pinchin' Buk's face
until he feare fo' his life

Buk tried his best to explain to Pa
that his intentions with Ma was good
But Pa just sharpened his axe
and invited Buk to fetch fire wood

Ma thought they got along
and thought that everything was alright
Even though Buk had disappeared
and Pa came home alone last night

now pa's as fair a man you'll find
never known to straddle a fence
but sunset came as did the dawn
and Buk ain't been seen since

Pa swore to all he left him clean
after knocking a bottle of swill
they shook hands like real men do
Buk wanderin' up Corn Holler Hill

the day burned on as desert days do
with Ma not feeling so well
she feared her man had gone and done
a deed which only dead men can tell

a pale moon settled on sand covered hills
the coyotes cried in the night
seems somewhere up West of Corn Holler
the mountains revealed such a sight

a full man running with green on top
begging for one last chance
screams of desire broke in the night
"THAT RAT B*STARD TOOK MY PANTS"

Frankie and Johnnie meet Paul Bunyan? ahahahahahhha.
Nice little verse for the amusement of the fellowship of the pen.
Never crowd a man in a hurry carrying a shovel- you might force him to dig a bigger hole.
