After reading this pm, I wondered how many others thought this way. You know a lot of you guys post about friends, school and all the other stuff you do in your daily life....

So naturally someone who life revolves around the military, would post a great deal about that... *shrugs* I do have thoughts that don't involve the military... but being part of it tends to suck up a lot of your time. Military balls, award banquets... Frg meetings and all the other HOOAH stuff that comes with it. It is not easy being in the military and it is diffently not easy being a wife in the military.

I miss a lot of my friends and unfortunately a lot have retired from the military or are over seas... The things that use to matter really don
 
If you're happy, that's all that matter.

But I'd have to agree with the sender of the PM, you don't half waffle on about the military.

We all have our subjects, mine for example is either humour (making a tit out of myself mostly), beer or vulgar things. :naughty:
 
I find it strange, myself. I have a brother in the Army for his second tour, a brother in the Navy somewhere in the Mediterranean, a close friend in the Reserves who just returned from a long duty call in Texas...
Whenever I get the chance to talk to them, the brothers talk incessantly about their adventures in the military.
My friend, however, rarely mentions what goes on unless it involved something crazy, but even then it has little to do with the military itself.
I guess some people like to talk about it, and some would rather talk about other things in their life that they find more important.
IMO Kit, it's all about how YOU feel when you talk about it. As long as you're ok with it, it's nobody else's business :P

Of all the things about you Kitana, I'd say your obsession with the military and military life bothers me the least. In fact, I haven't really noticed.

It even shocked me that someone bothered to send you a pm about it.

What's it to them anyway?
 
BklynCannonball - I really don't understand you. Considering I feel like I hardly know you nor from your attitude do I care to. You either like me or not and if you don't thats fine and you do hey cool with me... I wouldn't say it an obession, it is a lifestyle.
 
Actually, I have found that Kit tends to express her opinions on military and military action in military or government related threads. Its not like she just spouts off for no reason. Why does everyone always bug on her anyways? I like Kit, she was the first person that talked to me here. She is nice, if anyone took the time to get to know her. She is just very opinionated. Not unlike some.
 
I could give a fuck less if I'm anonymous. I'd rather be known for what I did, better than sitting here not being a coward about it.

You replied with something about how you don't expect me to understand...while this is true, I don't fully understand and I probably never will, if you realize this, then why do you post about it so much?
 
Honestly I can't remember what I wrote to you...

There are people around the world who do understand, people in the military, wives, husbands, soldiers, children... Why should it matter what I chose to talk about?
 
If you're looking for support, you could always post on a forum related to the military instead of spending your time here sharing your thoughts with a bunch of people you "wouldn't expect to understand".
