A place to publish novels online. Considering Fictionpress.com or Deviant Art?

If I choose FictionPress.com, is there ever a chance of me selling it? I know that you can sell prints on Deviant Art, but can you sell literature? If so, how would I go about doing so.
 
There's almost no chance of selling a novel which you have published on any free archive site. You basically have to choose. Are you trying to make this a pro novel? If so, you cannot share it for free. Or did you write it for fun and know full well it will never be pro standard? If so, you can share it on as many archive sites as you like.

If you want online help for a novel you hope to sell, you need a critique site, which does _not_ count as online publishing because it is members only and only a small amount at a time. www.critiquecircle.com is good, but you will be required to "pay" for your critiques by returning the favour for other writers.
