A place in Slovakia

What is the website I can't find it :(

*** Update *** I have found it now!!
And I am really looking forward to seeing their full website. The picture on it at the moment makes it look really beautiful, the exterior colour scheme looks great.
And is it just me who thinks the picture of the Chateau from the Opening Credits is identical to the one they bought?
Nice touch there, I think.

It's hilarious I love it! She's such a snob and he tries to be tight with his money while she spenRAB it like water. But they're the sort of people that always seem to come through and take risks and it works out in the end. I'm sure they'll get what they want from the chateau. Though I doubt the locals like us Brits turning all their old buildings into hotels for more Brits. They'd rather see them crumble.

Anyway I will have to set the video next week cos I'll miss it and I too have got hooked.

Same thing with that couple who tried to buy a business in Spain - he was called Lee can't remember her name but he just didn't have a clue and was forever blaming anyone but himself when things went wrong.

What happened to them?

Love it, Love it, Love it!!! Off work last week and watched this programme. Said to myself that Anne reminded me of someone but couldn't think who. My son sat yesterday and watched the programme and I asked if Anne put in him mind of someone.....................Wow!!! He said that Anne and I could be twins.....same personality, same humour, same body actions etc etc. I sat and laughed and laughed. Can't wait until todays edition. Totally hooked. :)

so does anyone actually think this place will make any money ?

Not sure how they are advertising it apart from the TV show but it's not really on the tourist map, and that's from someone who's been to the Slovak Republic a few times!!

I just can't really see anyone going to this place, although the web site fails to mention prices at the moment as well

Lee and Cheryl. They had a follow up programme just before this one went out and they're still doing much the same (ran a fish farm for a while with a mobile home which they wanted to swap for a luxury finca with land in Spain). Someone earlier in this thread said their mother-in-law had just met them in Spain and spoke to them.

Slovakia, not exactly on the British tourists radar? I think like all couples who think running a hotel is easy they will struggle. Never ceases to amaze me how many people give up good "city" jobs and such to start a business in something they know nothing about. I think David is a bit of a muppet and Ann is a bloody nightmare, her true colours shone through yesterday when she snapped "it's all in my name anyway" at the party. I wonder what tales her ex-husbanRAB could tell us?

I've loved watching this programme, it's such a shame that it enRAB this week.

I don't think Anne and David are mad for buying the chateau at all - if things work out then they could be sitting on a gold mine. I wish I had the guts to do something like this.

I'd be interested in visiting the chateau one day - it looks lovely.

I am Annie's best friend from early childhood. I have been trying to find her for some time now and up until this programe have been unsuccessful. I last heard from her when she had just met David but was not well enough to meet as I had suffered several bereavements followed by a mild stroke.
She is a very warm, fun ambitious person and I would love to see her again. We have had many crazy times together.
Could someone please let me know her email her web-site address?

To be fair, I think it is important to remember that we are watching a television show - designed to interest and entertain us. There must be, to some extent, elements which are not completely realistic / directed for the cameras. Don't take everything at face value! ;)

How many have there been? I saw the last few of Crete and most of Spain and this one.

They're all good in their different ways but one of the most awful things was when the couple in Crete kept being so dismissive of their frienRAB and almost shafting them at every turn. Their selfishness was breath-taking!

And I couldn't believe Lee and Cheryl's incredulity that that guy hadn't been running their snail farm for months longer than agreed. :D
